I am loving every minute of Midnight in Paris. I dream of walking along the cobbled streets in Paris while this guitar background music is playing. It makes you look at all the seductions of the world you’ve been missing.
”You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing, and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.”
- Jiddu Krishnamurti
Scented Books?
A Publishing Company is planning to make reading more enjoyable by creating “books that smell bubblegum, berry flavours - and farts”.
A good book should leave you slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading it

Margaret Thatcher once said, “In politics, if you want anything said ask a man. If you want anything done ask a woman”.
~ This is my belated entry in celebration of International Women’s day. I wasn’t able to post it on the day itself because I just had a vague memory of the quote. I tried searching it but it yielded no results. Fortunately, while I was reading an article on Margaret Thatcher, I came across the quote, the one I’ve been trying to remember. I believe that women can get things done, not only in politics but in everything.
Happy International Women’s Day! Born a woman, Rejoice!

If you were given one chance to travel to the past, which literary past would you like to visit?
This question is inspired by Woody Allen’s film “Midnight in Paris”. I’m pretty sure there will be quite a number of readers who would love to visit and meet their favorite writer(s) past that spawned a literary masterpiece.
